Introduction

The Online Demand Deposit Account is payment account providing customers with convenient asset management and financial services. Customer could actively open and close account via Internet Banking and Mobile Banking of Woori Bank Vietnam

Benefits

  • Target Customer: Target customers shall be existing individual customer have Woori Bank Vietnam Account and using electronic banking of Woori Bank Vietnam (only 1 account for 1 person).
  • Applicable Currency: Applicable Currency shall be VND.
  • Deposit Period: There is no restriction on deposit periods.
  • Usage range: Only available to make transactions in domestic by Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. However, after visiting branches Online Demand Deposit Account could be changed to normal DDA and could be issued debit card and passbook.
  • Amount of Deposit: There is no restriction on the amount of deposit.
  • Interest: The interest rate shall be the one posted at the internet homepage or the branch of the Bank as of the deposit date and the formula is as follows:
    [Interest = ∑(Balance amount x Interest rate per annum x Number of balance maintaining days) ÷ 365]
  • Settlement of Accounts: Accounts shall be settled every third Saturday of each month as to daily final balances at the Online Demand Deposit Account.

Required documents

  • The Application for opening account cum deposit agreement and General Terms and conditions on account and use of account’s service signed by account holder or person’s guardian or legal representative of account holder.
  • The citizen identity card or ID card or unexpired passport, birth certificate (for a Vietnamese citizen aged under 14 years), entry visa or certificate of visa exemption (for a foreigner) of the account holder.
  • If a account is opened through a person’s guardian or legal representative, the required documents for account opening must also include the citizen identity card or ID card or unexpired passport of the guardian or legal representative, and documents proving his/her capacity for representing the account holder.
