- Target customer: From 15- year-old and above individual customer (from 18-year-old and above for customer open account via Mobile Banking). For foreign individuals, can only open WON Account (WON Box) at the Bank’s counters. 1 account / person
- Applicable currency: VND
- Deposit term: Non term deposit
- Maximum deposit limit: WON Account: Unlimited. WON Box: 100 million VND/customer
- Interest rate: WON Account: 0.05%/year. WON Box: The maximum interest rate of demand deposit in accordance with State Bank from time to time
- Interest payment method: Interest will be paid on the third Saturday of every month
- Product conversion: Customers who own a normal demand deposit account (DDA) can convert to WON Account on Mobile Banking or visit the counters to request conversion
- Benefits: Free 10 times NAPAS 24/7 transfer fee per month (only applied for transaction from WON account)
Required documents
- ID card or unexpired passport, birth certificate, entry visa or certificate of visa exemption (for a foreigner) of the account holder.
- If an account is opened through a person’s guardian or legal representative, the required documents for account opening must also include the ID card or unexpired passport of the guardian or legal representative, and documents proving his/her capacity for representing the account holder.
