On November 5, 2026, Woori Bank Vietnam continued to organize the charity program “Lunchbox of Love – Woori Care 2026” at Yen Vui Charity Kitchen, Hanoi, with the participation of Mr. Bae Tae In – General Director of the Bank and its employees. The program prepared 260 meals, of which nearly half were presented to disadvantaged patients at Dong Da General Hospital.

From early morning, Yen Vui Kitchen was bustling with the presence of Woori Bank Vietnam volunteers. In the small kitchen, everyone lent a hand – some preparing ingredients, some cooking, others arranging the food trays. The atmosphere was busy yet warm, as everyone shared the same goal: preparing decent, hot meals for people in difficult circumstances. The meal featured steamed rice, meat and tofu in tomato sauce, boiled cabbage, salted roasted peanuts, and vegetable soup — simple, wholesome dishes that brought the warmth and comfort of a home-cooked meal.

The aroma from the hot dishes spread throughout the kitchen, evoking a sense of closeness and coziness. The preparation, cooking, and packaging stages were all done carefully, focusing on food safety and nutritional quality for each meal. General Director Bae Tae In and the staff also directly participated in preparing and packing the meals. Each portion was not only carefully crafted in quality but also carried care and a sharing heart to the recipients.

A total of 260 meals were prepared at Yen Vui Kitchen. Among them, 100 meals were hand-delivered by the Woori Bank Vietnam volunteer group to elderly patients facing difficult circumstances at Dong Da General Hospital; the remaining portions were served at the Kitchen at a subsidized price of only 2,000 VND/meal. In addition to the hot meals, the Bank also gifted young patients with cute Wibee, bringing joy and spiritual encouragement to the patients during their difficult days.

Besides cooking and donating meals, Woori Bank Vietnam also donated nearly 30 million VND to Yen Vui Kitchen, including essential supplies such as cooking oil, seasoning powder, soup powder, fish sauce, and covered the entire cooking costs for the day. This practical support helps share the operational costs, providing more resources for the Kitchen to maintain its activities and continue bringing heartfelt meals to many difficult circumstances.

Yen Vui Charity Kitchen, under the Bong Sen Foundation, is a charity model serving nutritious meals at a symbolic price of only VND 1,000-2,000. Established in Hanoi in 2020, the Kitchen aims to support low-income workers, solitary elderly people, and those in difficult life circumstances. This model not only helps diners reduce their financial burden but also creates conditions for everyone to proactively come and dine with comfort and closeness. Behind each meal is the joint effort of the Bong Sen Foundation, volunteers, and generous hearts, together maintaining a warm kitchen in the heart of the city.

Following the “Lunchbox of Love – Woori Care” program in 2025, this year’s activity with Yen Vui Kitchen continues to demonstrate the social responsibility spirit and long-term companionship commitment of Woori Bank Vietnam with the community. From the Yen Vui kitchen to the hospital corridors, every act of sharing contributes to spreading the warmth of human kindness, cultivating good values, and aiming for a compassionate, sustainably developing community.
