Pursuant to Circular No.17/2024/TT-NHNN and Circular No.18/2024/TT-NHNN issued by the State Bank of Vietnam, Woori Bank Vietnam Limited (“Woori Bank”) respectfully informs you of the following:
From January 1st, 2025, your Payment account and/or Card will be temporarily suspended for payment transactions and withdrawals on the demand accounts and/or card transactions in the following cases:
- For Individual Customer:
- Identity documents: ID card/Citizen identification card (for Vietnamese citizens), Passport, Visa, Residence card (for foreign nationals) of the Customer has expired and/or;
- Individual customers using service on ATM/Electronic Transaction have not completed registering biometric on Mobile Banking*.
- For Organization Customer:
- The legal documents of your organization and the identity documents of the Lawful Representative and related individuals have expired or are no longer valid.
To ensure uninterrupted transactions at Woori Bank, we respectfully request that you promptly update and supplement information on the latest legal documents, identity documents, and complete biometric registration in accordance with the provisions of law.
❖ For updating legal documents and identity documents: Please visit the nearest Woori Bank Branch/Transaction Office to update (From January 1, 2025, you can update online via the Woori Bank’s mobile application: “WON” for cases of using ID cards/Citizen ID cards).
❖ For biometric registration: You may visit the nearest Woori Bank Branch/Transaction Office or complete the registration independently via the WON application.
※ For Organization Customer: Temporary suspension of electronic payment transactions and withdrawals on payment accounts due to the absence of biometric registration will take effect from July 1, 2025.
