Responding to the urgent call issued by the State Bank of Vietnam in Official Dispatch No. 10261/NHNN-VP dated November 22, 2025, mobilizing support for provinces in the Central and Central Highlands regions severely impacted by recent storms and floods, Woori Bank Vietnam has promptly contributed an additional VND 200 million. This brings the bank’s total donation in 2025 to VND 400 million, channeled through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
At the 9th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Banking Sector held on November 24, 2025, the State Bank’s leadership symbolically presented VND 150 billion, which included contributions from Woori Bank Vietnam, to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The gesture signified the solidarity, responsibility, and collective commitment of the entire banking sector toward supporting communities affected by natural disasters.
Earlier, in October 2025, immediately after Storms No. 10 and 11 caused severe damage in northern and central provinces, Woori Bank Vietnam swiftly provided nearly VND 300 million in cash and essential goods to help residents stabilize their lives. Of this amount, VND 200 million was transferred directly to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Additionally, the bank’s employees raised VND 80 million, which the Thai Nguyen Branch delivered, together with essential supplies, to 90 heavily affected households through the Linh Son Ward Red Cross Society in Thai Nguyen Province.
Guided by the commitment to sustainable development and community engagement, Woori Bank Vietnam consistently prioritizes CSR initiatives in education, healthcare, environmental protection, and social welfare. Our continued support for disaster-stricken communities reaffirms the bank’s long-term pledge to contribute to Vietnam’s stability and sustainable development.
