(VNe) – Woori Bank Vietnam increased its charter capital from VND 7,700 billion to VND 12,500 billion, becoming the largest bank with 100% foreign charter capital in Vietnam.
With this support from the parent bank and Woori Finance Group, Woori Bank Vietnam will focus on enhancing competitiveness, investing in developing the digital banking segment, providing superior financial solutions to customers with many diverse and flexible products, effectively meeting the needs of both individual and corporate customers.

This will be a springboard for Woori Bank Vietnam to continue promoting the strategy of expanding business networks throughout the territory of Vietnam, especially the capital Hanoi, helping to spread the brand to more Vietnamese people. The bank expects to open a Lotte Mall branch and Lotte Center transaction office at the end of May.
In addition, this capital increase is a milestone marking the bank’s scale expansion after 27 years of presence in Vietnam. This demonstrates the determination to make long-term investments in Vietnam in general and contribute to Vietnam’s economic growth in particular.
