Starting from November 1, 2024, Woori Bank customers can now make faster money transfers on the WON App with support from Zalo.
As digital technology continues to evolve, Woori Bank has introduced the Banking Deeplink QR on Zalo feature to enhance customer experience and align with the rapidly growing financial market in Vietnam. With this new feature, transfer information received in Zalo chats will automatically appear in the WON App with just a few simple steps. All transfer confirmations will still be made directly in the WON App, ensuring secure transactions.
Customers who already have a Woori Bank account and use the WON App can easily send and receive transfers via Zalo by following these steps:
1. To Receive a Transfer
Customers can send their account information to others via Zalo chat by simply texting the format: “Account Number + Woori Bank”. This message will include the customer’s account number, a transaction QR code, a “Transfer Money” button, and a “Save Bank Account” button.
- To Make a Transfer
If customer receives another person’s account information via Zalo, to transfer money to that person, customer can choose one of the following options
- Option 1: Use WON App to scan the QR code displayed in Zalo
- Option 2:
- Select “Transfer Money” or “Bank Transfer”
- Enter the amount and transfer details
- Choose Woori Bank
- Click “Transfer money” to be automatically redirected to the WON App
