On December 12, 2024, at the Head office, Woori Bank Vietnam, in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, organized the “Drops of Love” (“Giọt hồng nhân ái”) blood donation event with the participation of numerous employees.
The event attracted over 100 employees, significantly contributing to the vital blood reserves needed for emergency and patient care as the Tet holiday approaches. This noble gesture embodies the compassion and solidarity of Woori Bank Vietnam, bringing hope, happiness, and life to many families and to the society.

General Director Park JongIl emphasized the profound value of blood donation, calling it an act of selflessness and humanity. He affirmed the Bank’s ongoing dedication to organizing meaningful initiatives like blood donation and charity programs with deep humanitarian purposes. Woori Bank Vietnam is an organization who always promotes solidarity, civilization, and compassion, offering support to those in need across the country.
With the aspiration to become “A better bank every day, creating future values,” Woori Bank Vietnam actively pays special attention to social contribution activities. In 2024 alone, the Bank carried out numerous impactful activities, such as “Spring of Love” (“Xuân yêu thương”), a volunteer event for children at the Huu nghị Dong Da Children’s Foster Home and “Nurturing the Future” (“Ươm mầm tương lai”) a program supporting underprivileged students in Vinh Phuc province, and also donated a substantial amount of VND 2 billion to the Central Relief Committee – Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, aiding flood-affected communities.
